This place closed down last week. I went here many times over the last few years and will miss the inexpensive sushi lunches!
Pour a sip. |

| Beef Terriyaki - some rolls - sushi - tuna tataky |
|
| Comments: |
| really bad for the price - the Beef was 20 dollars and they give you just a little bowl of rice with very little beef for the price - the salmon had a weird color it did not look fresh -the rolls were just ok, but I've had way better for a better price. It was my first and last visit to this place. |

So I came here for the first time to celebrate my sister in laws birthday. We made reservations for a private room and a chef to come out to cook food for us on a giant iron grill table. We had no idea another family was going to join us which made it a little awkward when we were waiting nearly 20 mins for the chef to arrive.
So the chef finally arrives. He was a little clumsy but He put on a good show and got everyone laughing.
As for the food...it wasn't so good. I would say it was mediocre at best for the price we paid. The scallop teppanyaki which I ordered had grains of sand in it and it was pretty much flavorless. My fiancé and sister in law had the same experience with flavor. I noticed that the only flavoring he used to put on every single dish was garlic butter (lots of it) and some brown sauce from a squeeze bottle.
The appetizers were delicious though a little expensive for the amount we got. The spring rolls were 2 small spring rolls cut in half to make 4 pieces.......
All in all I can say for certain that I will not be coming back and my guests would say the same. Teppanyaki was not worth the time and the money...and my tummy kinda hurts. |

Assorted tempura
Salmon Sashimi
Unagi Rolls
Lobster Rolls
Banana Tempura and Ice cream |

| Comments: |
Tempura was good but could use a bit of salt in the batter.
The two orders on sushi was okay. Good amount but the texture of the rice not quite right and taste a bit bland.
Salmon sashimi pretty fresh
The banana tempura good not great (nothing special)
Overall was okay. A bit overpriced for what you get. Not saying will not come back but next time I'd rather try other places before going back there. |

| Served raw chicken, ate some of it spit it out. Called management. No apology. They offered 10% discount! Never going back there again! I don't recommend this place unless you are into eating at a place that has no food service standards! |

| Comments: |
We dropped by this restaurant for lunch because we were in the mood for Japanese food. I had the spicy salmon miso and it was amazing. I asked about the noodles and I was told they were fresh (not fried). The soup base was light, tasty and not salty. I didn't try any of the chicken miso but my girlfriend really enjoyed it.
We both shared the salmon scallop roll which was flavourful and fresh. The portion size of the roll was also very good. There were so many rolls on the menu we both agreed we'd have to return and try some of the other items.
This restaurant is located in the Oakville Centrum complex and there is plenty of free parking available. The restaurant itself is quite nice inside and offers numerous booths, private tables and even a teppanyaki room.
On my way out I also grabbed a take-out menu, so the restaurant also has that option if you don't want to dine-in. Overall we felt it was a great place to enjoy some very good Japanese food. Enjoy! |

| Spicy scallop role was exceptional...unfortunately the Tobiko Classic Roll and Rock & Roll were not...tasteless and much too expensive. You'd be better of going to the local grocery store. |
