1. Why should I create a free photo gallery?
|
|
|
Firstly, it's free. Secondly, because your photo gallery will show potential customers what you have to offer. Once you've created your photo gallery,
a photo icon will appear for your establishment on restaurant search results and on your restaurant listing. The following two images will give you a better idea of where customers
will see a link to your photo gallery.

2. Let's start to create your photo gallery - first open your control panel
|
|
|
If you haven't seen it already, we provide you with a "control panel" to manage your restaurant listing. If you are logged in, you can access your control panel from the "My Restaurant Listings" link shown
on the left side of the screen (we call this the left nav).

|
|
3. Upload your photos
|
|
Once you have your control panel open you'll want to click on the "Photos" tab. The actual process of uploading photos is very easy. You simply click the "Upload files" button
to select files from your computer. When you first upload the files most of the values will be set by default.
Don't worry you'll have a chance to make all the changes you want in the next step. We recommend uploading photos with a maximum width of 500 pixels, but feel free to
experiment with different sizes.
For your convenience we show you the number of files that you have uploaded and the number you are allowed to upload. Note the maximum file size allowed.

4. Enter labels and descriptions
|
|
|
Once you have uploaded your photos you can double click on a row to edit the photo's details. Here is your chance to add a creative touch and capture the
attention of potential customers.

5. Preview your great looking photo gallery
|
|
|
After you've uploaded your photos and set creative labels and descriptions you can preview your photo gallery by clicking the "Photo Gallery" tab.
This lets you see what your visitors will see.

|
|
|
6. View your photo gallery
|
|
Once you are done creating your photo gallery you can check how the photo gallery looks on your restaurant listing. If you have at least one visible photo in your
photo gallery, a "Photo Gallery" link will be displayed on your restaurant listing in the top right section.

7. Lastly, don't forget to update
|
|
|
If you change your menu or have new photos to share - be sure to keep your photo gallery up to date. It is one of the best ways for potential customers to see
how great an establishment you have. Keep in mind, you can upload different types of pictures - pictures of your best menu items, pictures of your friendly staff, pictures of your establishment or
even pictures of your customers (although you should request their permission first).
